Did you try to say to yourself:” I admire all wonderful true said by God, but don’t count on my life to follow His will”? Mentioning about Jesus Christ’s virtue, our attitude means a type of conceit of the religion. Most of people have many wonderful dreams making us be sincerely convinced. However, once the dream involves our practical life, it is impracticable. Everyone has some different thoughts more or less to Jesus. When we tell other people that we have made a covenant with the Lord, they will ask us curiously that where our money will be from, or how we face the life at present? Their words let us doubt Jesus’s will. Sometimes, the doubt may happen on ourselves. We doubt that the Lord is difficult to deal with our trouble prayed by us. It’s a good idea that we rely on the Lord to live, but it is not easy because we need to live. However, Jesus even didn’t have nothing to draw with water, how would he supply us? We must pay more attention to the false respect from our hearts that we don’t despise Jesus, but ourselves. If we are honest, we will admit a fact that we never blame and doubt ourselves. Everyone knows their abilities clearly, but there exist many complaints in the Lord. Even we feel that our self-esteem will be hurt when we hear that Jesus can do all things we can’t do.
My fear is from my heart because God always keeps his word. My doubt is lack of my confidence. If there are these thoughts, we must come before God with the whole hearts to pray for our sins. “Dear God, I have a doubt to you. I believe myself more than your great power. I don’t give up my understanding to believe your strong power...”
