我为什么想当一名优秀的作家呢?因为人们在生活中的喜怒哀乐，可以带来无尽的感叹和遐思。而写出好文章是漫长而困难的，因为要多加修改，多些文采。当自己辛苦写出的好文章，被大家加以赞赏时，便对自己自信了许多，对以前辛勤地写作感到值得，而苦尽甘来。
当然，我们现在都爱幻想着自己的美好未来。而有些学生，只是单单地幻想，没有落实到理想。我认为，要为自己的理想而努力。我知道作家的路，可能是坎坷不平的，何况是一名着名的作家呢?因此，我就从小努力学习，为将来当作家打下牢固的基础。
我知道当作家，首先要写的文章有文采。所以，我准备了一个好词好句本，当读书阅报，看到优美的词句，就毫不犹豫地摘抄上来。常常拿出来看一看，读一读。时间一长，就深深地纪录在脑海中，文章也自然而然多了几分文采。
我还知道当作家，要“原于生活，高于生活”，因此我还准备了一个日记本。每天晚上，就拿出来纪录当天有意义或者有趣的事情。没事的时候翻一翻，一来可以回忆回忆往事，二来写作文时，还可以拿出来参考参考，成为写作有利的素材。
一首小小的诗、一篇短短的文章，都是是我童年“小作家路”的点点痕迹。而写作就可以在“小作家路”上增添一大笔光辉。所以，我会勇往直前地向未知的前方，大步奔去。牢记我的理想，为它而奋斗!
