Is he young? 及其答语Yes, he is./No, he isn’t ,本课时在此根底上 ,进一步学习有关人物性格的词汇polite, shy, helpful, clever, hard-working ,学会使用What’s he like?询问别人的外貌和性格特点 ,并能用He/She is...进行答复。该句型已经在上一课时的情景对话中学习过 ,本课时可以使用新学词汇进行练习。 三、目标预设 1. 借助图片 ,能听、说、认读描述人物性格的单词polite, shy, helpful, clever, hard-working ,并稳固复习学过的词汇； 2. 恰当运用What’s he like? He is hard-working. 展开对话 ,并能做出适当答复。 3. 标准书写所学词汇和句型 ,注意大小写和标点符号。 四、重难点预设 1. 在句型中 ,What’s he like?和He is...中单数he, she和复数they以及系动词is, are的搭配将是学生在口语中容易出错的地方。 2. 对于后进生 ,先鼓励他们用单数操练 ,对复数形式不做硬性要求。 五、评价设计 1. 用听音跟读、pair work, group work ,game等活动检测目标1的达成情况； 2. 用角色扮演的形式 ,在情境中利用所学词汇自创对话 ,或者利用match and say检测目标2的达成情况； 3. 要求学生书写新授词汇3遍 ,并在书写过程中观察学生书写情况 ,及时提醒学1 / 3

And learn the word: clever 通过Guessing game导入新词： hard-working shy helpful. 二、呈现新课 〔Presentation〕 Prepare some pictures to explain “shy〞 or polite 1. Listen and read the words and the short talk. 2. Make a sentence with these words in pairs.(group competition) 1. Match and say: Can you say a sentence to describe the pictures? What’s he/she like?
