摘要：The field device (10) has input protection unit (101), energy storage unit (105),electrical consumer, charging circuit and charging current control unit. The charging
circuit is operated, such that the energy storage unit stores the supplied energy. Thecharging current control unit is operated to control one of the charging circuit supplyingcharging current (I-L) to charge the energy storage device, so that a limit value for aninput current (I-E) which flows through the input protection circuit is not exceeded. Theinput protection unit is operated, to limit an input current from the field device. Theenergy storage unit is operated to provide the electrical consumers with electricalenergy.
