Teaching aims:

1. Enable Ss to master the three-skilled words in Unit 2: father (dad), mother (mom), woman, man, sister, brother, grandfather (grandpa), grandmother (grandma).

2. Enable Ss to understand and perform the story ( SB P20 ) .

3. Pronunciations of er / ə /, th /ð/, a/æ/, e/ i: /,.

Before the class:

Let’s chant

Look at the cat. It is fat.

Look at the pig. It is big.

Look at the monkey. It is funny.

Look at the mouse, in my house. Ahhh!!!

Teaching steps:

Step I Warming-up

1. Greetings

T: Good morning, Class.

S: Good morning, Miss Chen.

T: How are you? (询问个别学生,鼓励多种方式的回答)

Ss: Very well, thanks./Fine, thank you. / Not too bad./ I’m OK.T: Nice to meet you.

Ss: Nice to meet you, too.

2. Let’s read

T: First, let’s read some words.

Ss: OK!

(PPT 出示)

a / æ / ant, apple, act, actress

e/ i: / she, he ,me, we

th / ð / this, that, the

er / ə / father ,mother ,sister ,brother

3. Let’s chant(P18)

T: Oh, father ,mother ,sister ,brother, now let’s have a chant.

(PPT呈现,录音机播放,学生打节拍或做动作)

Step II presentation& Practice

1. 铺垫操练

① Let’s find out

T:(教师用PPT呈现学生和教师的照片)Who’s that woman/man/…?

S: He’s/She’s….

(请学生询问,然后变成1个chant.)

②情境展示watch TV(PPT 出示范冰冰)

T: Look, what’s this?

S: TV.

T: Come on, let’s watch TV, OK?

S: Super./Great./Cool…

T: Who’s that woman?

S1: She’s Fan Bingbing .

(出示多位女明星,引出actress)

T: I am a teacher, you are students, what does she do?

S: Actress.

T:(出示句卡actress. 再折出an actress)She is an actress.(请学生操练)

S:…is an actress.

T: She’s beautiful.(出示句卡,跟读)

T: Who is beautiful?

S: … is beautiful.

T: She’s beautiful. How beautiful.

③(出示小沈阳)

T: Who’s that man?

S: He’s Xiao Shenyang.

T: Look at Xiao Shenyang.

S: How funny.

T: (出示句卡How funny.,操练。出示其他人物,操练S:…

(编成一个chant.)

2.story time.

T:Who’s that woman?

S: She’s Zoom’ s mother.

T: Is she an actress? Let’s listen to the tape.

②请学生听录音,并回答问题。

T: Is she an actress?

S: Yes.

③引出句型Wait a moment.并呈现几幅吃饭、购物等场景让学生操练。

④呈现全文,读一读。

播放录音机,学生跟读。小组朗读,男女生朗读。合上书本来一遍,边演边说。

⑤请学生观看VCD动画,教师与一名学生示范表演。

⑥Pair-work.

让学生自由组合,操练。教师予以指导。

⑦Act out.

小组展示,最后教师引导热爱自己的family.

1. Listen to the tape for 15’.

2. Act out the story at home.
