摘要:A method for electronically controlling fuel metering means for metering thequantity of fuel being supplied to an internal combustion engine, wherein a basic fuelquantity corresponding to a condition in which the engine is operating is corrected by theuse of a first correction coefficient having a value dependent upon the engine
temperature, so as to supply a required quantity of fuel to the engine. When the engineis accelerated while it is in a cold condition, the value of a second correction coefficient isset as a function of the value of the first correction coefficient, and the above basic fuelquantity is corrected by the value of the second correction coefficient thus set.
Preferably, the basic fuel quantity is corrected in such a manner that an acceleration fuelincrement dependent upon an accelerating condition of the engine is multiplied by thevalue of the second correction coefficient, and the resulting product is added to the basicfuel quantity. The second correction coefficient is applicable to both synchronousacceleration fuel increasing control synchronized with generation of a signal indicative ofa predetermined crank angle of the engine, and asynchronous acceleration fuelincreasing control effected independently of the above signal.
