教学设计及反思
教材分析:本节课以“School subject”为话题,主要通过听、说、写和讨论等活动让学生了解怎样用英语询问和回答最喜欢的学科和喜欢的原因,并学会使用easy, fun, interesting, boring, difficult, relaxing等形容词来表达自己喜欢某个学科的原因。学会新词汇和用特殊疑问句What’s your favorite subject. Why do you like...? What’s his/her favorite subject? Why does he/she like...?等句型来进行口语交际。
Section A 1 (1a-2c)
一、教学目标:
1. 语言知识目标:
1) 能掌下列词汇:favorite, subject, P.E, computer, science, music, math, Chinese, geography, history, politics , biology ,why, because
2) 能掌握以下句型:
① —What's your favorite subject? —My favorite subject is science.
② —Why do you like it? —Because it's fun.

③ —What's his /her favorite subject? —His/Her favorite subject is science.
④ —Why does he/she like it? —Because it's fun.
3) 能就所喜欢的科目这一话题进行问答交流,正确表达自己的情感。
4)能听懂有关所喜欢的科目相关话题的听力材料,并获得相关信息。
2. 情感态度价值观目标:
此部分的学习内容贴近学生的学习生活,谈论的话题是喜欢的学科。通过互相询问和谈论彼此所喜欢的学科,可以增进同学之间的了解和友情并培养学生热爱学习、热爱科学的思想和良好的学习、生活习惯。
二、教学重难点
1. 教学重点:
1) 掌握学校科目的相关词汇。
2) 学习询问和谈论别人或自己喜好的学科并给出理由。
3)What和Why引导的特殊疑问句的构成和使用。

三、教学过程
Step 1 Warming up
1. Greeting the Ss.
2. Warming up.
Watch a video, then ask Ss to sing a song《Apple tree》and answer the questions:
T: My favorite fruit is apples. What’s your favorite fruit? (Write the two sentences on the Bb.)
S: My favorite fruit is…
Show some pictures in ppt and ask students to answer: My favorite person is …
Purpose 通过视频《Apple tree》作为本课热身,引起学生的兴趣,然后表达自己的看法:My favorite fruit is apples. What’s your favorite fruit?(把这两个句子写在黑板上,引起学生的注意。)My favorite fruit is…使学生自然地引出本节课学习的话题。
Step2 Pairwork
What’s your favorite color/sport/food?

Purpose 通过贴近学生生活的话题,来激发学生的兴趣,让学生积极参与。
Step3 Learn the new words (What subject is it?)
Ask Ss to answer: What subjects do we have at school? And then show some words about subjects in ppt, they are art, P.E, computer, science, music, math, Chinese, and so on.
Ss read all the subjects and try to remember them.
Purpose 通过学生所熟悉的各个科目,在掌握新单词的前提下,进行必要的扩展,有利于扩大学生的词汇量。
Step4 Play a game
Show some pictures in ppt and ask Ss to guess what subject it is .
Purpose 通过师生的猜科目单词来活跃课堂气氛,同时又让同学们轻易地学会这节课的单词。
Step5 Ask and answer:
—What's your favorite subject?
—My favorite subject is Chinese.

—Why do you like it?
—Because it's interesting and helpful.( ask two Ss to answer)
—What's his /her favorite subject?
—His/ Her favorite subject is...
—Why does he/she like…?
—Because it's… ( ask all the Ss to answer)
Purpose 通过有效的示范提问,以及不断的操练,为下面的活动进行铺垫。
Step6 Pairwork:
—What's your favorite subject? —My favorite subject is …
—Why do you like it? —Because it's…
Purpose 通过练习对方让同学们熟悉今天课题的句型,有助于锻炼学生的英语表达和运用能力。
Step7 Listening
Play the tape for the first time, Ss match the words with the pictures in 1a Then check the answers.

Play the recording again, Ss listen and circle the words in 1a. Then check the answers.
Listen to 2a, listen and put the conversation in order. Check the answers, then ask Ss read these sentences.
Purpose 听力的听和说结合,有利于学生的综合能力。
Step8 Play a guessing game
Do you know these famous people’s favorite subjects?
Purpose 通过利用有些明星的照片以及他们喜欢的科目来引起学生的兴趣以及加深学生对单词和句型的理解与运用。
Step9 Listening
Listen to 2b, match the subjects you hear with the descriptions. Ss listen and match. Then ask Ss to check the answers.
Purpose 本活动是让学生学会在听力材料中获取所需要的信息,并学会喜恶,不断地巩固和提高自己。
Step10 Exercises
Ask Ss to finish the exercises in ppt.

Ss fill in the blank on the piece of paper.
Purpose 通过练习来巩固学生的知识。
Step11 Summary
Purpose 归纳和总结本节课所学的重点句型。
Step12 Homework
1.Ask your parents: What are their favorite things and why?
2. Remember the new words
Purpose 帮助学生复习单词和检测学生对本节课的掌握程度。
Step13 Ending
To become successful, you should learn all subjects well, not only you favorite subject.
Purpose 激励学生认真学习各科,全面发展,加强德育教育。
板书设计:

教学反思:整个课时的设计比较合理,引入生动自然,贴切,使学生能快速明了本节课的主要话题。各个教学步骤自然流畅,学生积极配合,尤其是视频还有部分明星喜恶科目吸引了学生的眼球,同时通过学生自己的喜恶进行交流,提高了他们的语言交流能力。
